Farmington's boys and girls basketball teams picked up Missota Conference wins over Holy Angels Tuesday night.
The Tiger girls (19-3) traveled to Richfield and came away with a 58-40 victory. Junior Taylor Meyer led the way with 22 points.
The girls team moved into a three-way tie for second place in the conference as New Prague fell to Shakopee. All three teams sit at 8-3 in the league, one game back of Chanhassen - which can win the Missota if it wins its final three games against Chaska, New Prague and Red Wing.
The Farmington boys ended a five-game conference losing streak with a 54-52 win over the Stars at Tiger Gym.
The Tigers (9-12) trailed by nine points at the break before mounting a comeback. Sebren Baer and Alex Michels each scored 16 points.
