Your weekend: American Legion omelet breakfast is Sunday morning
The Farmington Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary will hold its first omelet breakfast of the fall season Sunday, but there's plenty going on before that, from live music and farmers' markets to free chair massages. Read on to find out what's on the schedule.
Thursday
Farmer’s market
The Farmington farmer’s market will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 8 on Third Street by city hall. A number of local vendors will have fresh produce and other items for sale.
Free chair massages
There will be free chair massages from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 8 as part of Stress Free Thursday at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. Massage therapist Shelly of Sweet Serenity massage in Farmington will provide the massages.

Friday
Live music
Singer-songwriter Char Engen will perform original music outside from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 9 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington.

Sunday
Omelet breakfast
The Farmington Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary will hold their first omelet breakfast of the 2011-12 season from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 11. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2011 attacks there will be discounted prices for veterans, military, police officers and firefighters. The Legion Auxiliary will also sell Remember 9/11 ribbons at the door.
