The Farmington High School Theatre presents The Savage Dilemma, a mature comedy about friendship and reality. Performances are set for Dec. 2-3 at 7 p.m. and a matinee show on Dec. 4 at 2 p.m.

The lively sequel to The Curious Savage, The Savage Dilemma features zany characters involved in a series of hilarious misadventures with Mrs. Savage saving the day.

The story of the play centers on Mrs. Ethel Savage, a depressed and world-weary traveler who returns home only to have her greedy stepchildren gain control of her fortune. Then, a plan is devised and the plot twists and turns as one event follows another leading to a heartwarming lesson in the essential goodness that lurks somewhere even in the worst (and sanest) of us.

Performance of The Savage Dilemma will be held in the District Auditorium at Boeckman Middle School, 800 Denmark Avenue. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens and are available at the door. The play is not recommended for young children.
