Farmers Union Insurance Agency will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 5 at its new location at 115 Elm St. Suite J. There will be appetizers and beverages to celebrate the insurance agency’s move from its longtime home at 821 Third St.
Playing with letters
Preschoolers can get a head start in reading with interactive games, songs and activities from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Jan. 6 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. Local folk/bluegrass/rock band Still Ticken’ will perform original music from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 6 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.
Farmington Knights of Columbus Council 2400 will hold a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 8 at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Ave. All proceeds will go to local charities.
