Your weekend: Salad luncheon is Feb. 11

Thursday

Books and Beyond: Valentine fun

The Dakota County Farmington Library will offer Valentine stories and crafts for ages birth to 6 with District 192 ECFE. The event will take place from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 9. The library is located at 508 Third St. For information call 651-438-0250.

Make duct tape flowers

Teens can make duct tape flowers from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Friday

Storytime for all ages

The Dakota County Farmington Library will offer a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 10. The event will include stories and activities appropriate for a mixed age group. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Live music

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Ben Aaron will perform original folk and bluegrass music from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 10 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.

Saturday

Excel basics class

The Dakota County Farmington Library will offer a class on the basics of Microsoft Excel for building job skills from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 11. The library is located at 508 Third St. For information call 651-438-0250 or visit dakotacounty.us/ library.

Valentine salad luncheon

Myrtle Chapter #13 OES will sponsor a Valentine salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Masonic Temple, 326 Third St. In addition to lunch there will be a basket auction, door prizes and a bake sale.

Omelet breakfast

The Farmington Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary will hold their monthly omelet breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Feb. 12. Proceeds will go to the SAL and Auxiliary and their programs. The legion is located at 10 Eighth St.
