Farmington police are investigating two reports of an adult male showing pornographic pictures to children in separate neighborhoods Monday evening.
According to police chief Brian Lindquist, around 5:30 p.m., officers received two separate calls from residents in the area of 182nd Street and Emerald Trail, and the 4800 block of 189th Street.
Both calls reported that a man in a pickup truck called to kids near the street and asked them if they wanted to see something. When the kids showed interest, he showed them a pornographic picture on his phone, then made further comments.
The man is described as a white male with a visible tattoo on a bald or shaven head. He was driving a gray or tan truck with an American flag and eagle covering the back window.
Police are investigating the reports. Anyone who has information on the suspect is asked to call the Farmington Police at 651-280-6700.
Lindquist also urges parents to talk to their children about the danger of approaching strangers.
