Storm knocked out power to 4,200 Dakota Electric customers
Tuesday’s combination of rain, snow and ice knocked out power to more than 4,200 Dakota Electric customers late Tuesday and early Wednesday. The outages were scattered around the company’s service area and included some parts of Farmington.
Tuesday’s combination of rain, snow and ice knocked out power to more than 4,200 Dakota Electric customers late Tuesday and early Wednesday. The outages were scattered around the company’s service area and included some parts of Farmington.
Dakota Electric crews had restored power to all customers by 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Power was restored to all but about 200 customers by 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, but the final outages required more individualized attention because they were at single residences and crews had to clear trees before they could restore power.
