Thursday
Teen make-and-take bubble magnets
Teens can turn small pictures into bubble magnets for their locker, refrigerator or any metal surface from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. April 12 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.
Friday
Storytime for all ages
There will be a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. April 13 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. Storytime includes tories and activities ideal for mixed age groups such as childcare groups and families.
Saturday
Beaded bookmarks
Visitors can make bedazzled bookmarks with the Eagan Art House from 10 a.m. to noon April 14, at the Dakota County Library. The activity is designed for participants ages 6 to 11.
Antique appraisals
The women of Faith United Methodist Church will hold a brunch and antique appraisal at 11:30 a.m. April 14. Bring an antique and the Peterson sisters will give you an estimate of what it’s worth. They are experienced appraisers of antiques. They request visitors bring no coins, stamps or large pieces. The brunch costs $8 and reservations are required. Spaghetti dinner
The 2011-12 Farmington Royalty and the 2012-13 candidates will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser and silent auction from 12 to 2 p.m. April 14 at Celts Pub, 200 Third St. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of a parade float for the royal ambassadors.
Sunday
Italian dinner and concert
Farmington Lutheran Church Youth will hold an Italian dinner and concert at 5 p.m. April 15 at the church 20600 Akin Road. Dinner will start at 5 p.m. The concert by Two Copper Coins will start at 6:15. Two Copper Coins is a group of friends from the Cannon Falls area that has come together to play a mix of Christian music. For information visit www.farmingtonlutheran.com or call 651-463-4100.
Omelet breakfast
The Farmington Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary will host the monthly omelet breakfast fund-raiser Sunday, April 15, 8:30 a.m. to noon, at the Farmington American Legion. The menu includes all-you-can-eat omelets, cheesy potatoes, toast, fruit, juice and coffee. Proceeds will go to SAL and ALA Unit 189 and their projects.

National Library Week
As part of a National Library Week celebration April 9-14 visitors can guess what library staff are reading and register for a prize drawing.
