PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING

EMPIRE TOWNSHIP

STORMWATER POLLUTION

PREVENTION Program (SWPPP)

A public meeting will be held on June 12, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Empire Township Town Hall (3385 W. 197th Street). The purpose of this meeting will be to review Empire Township’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program.

The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is a document required by the State and Federal government. It outlines how the Township will work towards reducing pollution in stormwater runoff. This plan will be available for public review at Empire Township Town Hall before and during the public meeting. During the meeting, time will be set aside to receive public comment.
