Jodie Udell is named as a Top Young Trainer

Training magazine selected Jodie Udell, a Farmington resident, as one of the 2012 Top Young Trainers.

The magazine’s fifth annual list of the top 40 trainers age 40 and under recognizes young professionals who excel in their field.

Udell is the director of training and development at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business. Trainers are nominated by their industry peers and then reviewed by Training magazine’s editor-in-chief and an independent judging panel. This year the magazine received about 100 nominations.

Udell is a 14-year employee of Globe University and has been director of training and development since 2008. She provides training resources for the university’s 2,000-plus employees located at 30 campuses in five states. Udell’s self-developed virtual training platform allows the university to reach employees cost-effectively while providing consistent training and communication. She also teaches her own sessions, including the Insights Transformational Leadership series, a professional development program.
