At Farmington’s Rambling River Center, Monday and Wednesday mornings are about getting fit.
Since April, the senior center has offered twice-weekly UCare classes to seniors looking for a little help getting up and moving. The classes, offered Mondays and Wednesdays, offer a series of low-impact exercises designed for older bodies.
Rambling River Center director Missie Kohlbeck said the classes have been well attended since the center started offering them. They take place at 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and are on the center’s calendar through at least August.
