A routine traffic stop turned into strike three for one Farmington man.
Police pulled over Aaron Joseph Peterson, 32, of Farmington on April 14 having his brake lights outs. When the police officer asked for Peterson’s proof of insurance, he admitted his car was not insured. Peterson has two prior convictions for failing to provide proof of insurance.
Peterson has been charged with failure to provide proof of insurance. He could face up to one year in prison and up to a $3,000 dollar fine.
