Farmington police are looking for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around the Farmington Steakhouse between when the steakhouse closed on Oct. 3, and when it reopened again on Oct. 4. Sometime during the overnight hours, someone broke into the downtown business.
Officers were called to the Farmington Steakhouse the morning of Oct. 4 on the report of a burglary. The burglars gained entrance to the building by removing a screen and prying open a north-facing window at the rear of the building, Farmington police chief Brian Lindquist said.
Several items were taken from the business, Lindquist said. He could not say what the items were at this time. Officers spent several hours at the steakhouse, collecting evidence.
“The owner indicated there were several items missing,” Lindquist said. “At this time, it is still under investigation.”
Police are asking that any residents who saw activity around the steakhouse over that time call the Farmington Police Department, 651-280-6700.
