Daughters of the American Revolution
The Josiah Edson chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 at Castle Rock Methodist Church, 27890 Delft Ave. There will be a program about a former civilian agent who served in Afghanistan. The meeting and program are open to the public.
Play with Lego and Duplos at the library
Get your child’s imagination working by exploring the many things they can create with Lego. The session will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. It is for ages 2 to 12. The library is located at 508 Third St.
Craft and bake sale
Farmington Lutheran Church will hold its annual craft, quilt and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the church, 20600 Akin Road. There will be coffee and rolls at 9 a.m., lefse for sale and many additional vendors. Lunch will be served from 11 to 1:30.
Holiday open house
The Living Well Book and Gift Store at St. Michael’s Catholic Church will hold its annual holiday open house from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3. There will be beeswax candle demonstrations from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Free cider, coffee and cookies will be available. St. Michael’s is located 22120 Denmark Ave.
