Your weekend: KC Turkey Bingo will benefit food shelf

Wine tasting
Farmington Liquors will hold a wine tasting event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the banquet room at Rambling River Center, 325 Oak Street.
Friday
Storytime for all ages
The Dakota County Farmington Library will have stories and activities ideal for a mixed age group from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 16. The library is located at 508 Third St.
Live music
Joshua Kloyda, a local blues and folk musician who recently performed in Nashville, will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 16 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.
Saturday
Bake sale and soup lunch
First United Presbyterian Church will hold its fall bake sale and soup lunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17 at the church, 625 Heritage Way. Visitors can buy baked goods for the holiday season and stay for coffee or lunch.
Waggin’ Tales
Kids can develop their reading skills and fluency by reading to certified therapy dogs from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 17 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.
Steak fry
There will be a steak fry dinner to benefit Boy Scout Troop #119 from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Farmington VFW. The VFW is located at 421 Third St.
KC Turkey Bingo
The Farmington Knights of Columbus Council 2400 will hold its annual Turkey Bingo from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Ave. A sloppy Joe dinner will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. and Bingo will begin when dinner is done.

Charity auction
Father Kaesen Knights of Columbus Council No. 5199 will hold its 51st annual charity sale at 7 p.m. Nov. 23 at St. John’s Education Center in Vermillion. More than 99 percent of the items for sale are new. There will also be gift certificates for local businesses and restaurants, sporting event tickets and more. Proceeds from the sale will benefit local charities.
Open musician jam
Acoustic musicians can jam with other players from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 23 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.
Blood drive
There will be a Red Cross blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Ave. Blood is in especially short supply now because Hurricane Sandy forced the cancellation of hundreds of blood drives on the East Coast. Peder Eide concert
Farmington resident Peder Eide will bring his Love Has Come Christmas tour to Farmington at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at Christian Life School. For more information about the tour visit www.pedereide.com.
