NOTICE FOR FILING FOR TOWNSHIP

ELECTION

Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Castle Rock Township, Dakota County, State of Minnesota, that filing for town office will be held for a two week period beginning January 1, 2013.

Affidavits of Candidacy shall be filed with the Town Clerk at Castle Rock Town Hall, 2537 240th Street, Farmington, MN between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays from January 1, 2013 to January 15, 2013, or by appointment by calling 651-460-2221 or email castlerocktownship@frontiernet.net.

Filing will close on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

Filing fee - $2.00

Offices to be filled at the March Annual Election are:

(1)Supervisor (A) 3-year term

(2)Supervisor (B) 3-year term

(3)Clerk 1-year term

There will also be a Town Question on the Ballot:

“Shall Option B, providing for the appointment of the Clerk by the Town Board, be adopted for the government of the town?”

Please specify which term you are interested in serving when filing.
