Your weekend: Former Tigers can lace up their skates for alumni hockey game

Annual Farmington High School alumni hockey game is set for Saturday evening at the Schmitz-Maki Arena. Check out the calendar to see what else is going on this week.

Thursday

Guitar Hero for teens

Teens can play Guitar Hero on the big screen at the Dakota County Farmington Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 20. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Ladies Night

The Farmington Business Association will hold a Ladies’ Night Out with special offers from a number of local businesses from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 20. Ladies’ Night Out takes place the third Thursday of every month.

Ladies Night at Pellicci Ace Hardware

Pellicci Ace Hardware will offer Ladies’ Night specials from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 20. There will be snacks and hot cider and ladies can buy a bucket for $2 and receive 20 percent off everything that fits inside. There will also be vendors including It Works, Lia Sophia, Tastefully Simple and Alpacas at Devenshire Farms. Pellicci’s is located at 3560 213th St. West.

Free chair massage

As part of the Farmington Business Association’s Ladies Night Out, Dunn Bros. will offer free chair massages by Adam Steffen of Hadler Family Chiropractic. Chair massages will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.

Friday

Live music

Farmington singer and guitarist Lowie Rutten will perform light acoustic music from 8 to 10 p.m. Dec. 21 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.

Saturday

Free chair massage

Dunn Bros. will offer free chair massages by Adam Steffen of Hadler Family Chiropractic. Chair massages will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.

Alumni hockey game

The 49th annual Farmington High School alumni hockey game will start at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 22 at Schmitz-Maki Arena. Interested players should email Pat Carey at pcarey@gmail.com or call 651-460-3489. Admission is free for spectators.

Dungeons & Dragons

Farmington residents ages 12 to 18 can join the Dakota County Farmington Library’s dungeon master for an afternoon of role playing filled with magic and monsters from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 27.
