Boys basketball: Tigers play from behind at Century
Rochester Century jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never trailed in a 63-56 non-conference win over Farmington last Dec. 18. The Tigers shot just 35 percent from the field and 28 percent from the free-throw line as they dropped their second straight and slipped to 3-3 overall. The Tigers shot just 35 percent from the field and 28 percent from the free-throw line as they dropped their second straight and slipped to 3-3 overall. The team is in action again today against Burnsville in the first round of the Hastings Tournament.
Alex Chadwick drained three three-pointers in the second half to tie the score, but the Tigers could never take the lead. Chadwick finished with a team-high 12 points.
Darren Beenken and Zach Speikers joined Chadwick in double figures with 11 points apiece. Beenken also hauled in a team-high eight rebounds.
