Farmington residents ages 12 to 18 can join the Dakota County Farmington Library’s dungeon master for an afternoon of role playing filled with magic and monsters from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 27. The event is free but registration is required. For more information call the library at 651-438-0250 or visit dakotacounty.us/ library.

Live music
Local band G and the Boys will perform rocking acoustic music from 8 to 10 p.m. Dec. 28 at Dunn Bros. Coffee. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave.
Upcoming events
New Year’s Eve celebration
The Farmington VFW will celebrate New Year’s Eve with live music from the band Down the Road from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Dec. 31. Three will be party favors and champaigne for toasting at midnight.
The VFW is located at 420 Third St.
