Mahtomedi (8-1) rallied from 10 down in the second half to defeat Farmington 62-57 Friday in the championship game of the Hastings Holiday Tournament.
The Tigers (5-4)led 38-28 at the break, but didn’t make a field goal over the first nine minutes of the second half.
Zach Speikers led Farmington with 13 points. Darren Beenken added a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds and Eli Rockett snagged 11 rebounds. The Tigers are back in action on the road tonight at Section 1 rival Owatonna.
