Your weekend: KCs pancake breakfast is Sunday
Dakota County Library in Farmington will offer several activities for students and adults next week.
Friday
Epiphany Extravaganza
Author Patrick “Packy” Mader will share his new book, Visiting the Visitors” at a special event from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 4 at Farmington Lutheran Church. The event is free for all ages. There will be books for sale. Farmington Lutheran is located at 20600 Akin Road.
Sunday
Pancake breakfast
The Farmington Knights of Columbus Council 2400 will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 6 at the Church of St. Michael. Funds raised at the breakfast will be donated to a variety of worthy causes.

Wii games for teens
Teens can play Nintendo Wii bowling and skiing, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Just Dance and more on the big screen at the Dakota County Farmington Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 7. The library is located at 508 Third St.
Book group
The Farmington Library Evening Book Group will discuss The Virgin of Small Plains by Nancy Pickard from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 7. New members are welcome. The library is located at 508 Third St.
Teen Library Day
Teens can drop in for a variety of activities including games, crafts, readings, discussions and more from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.
Book group
The Farmington Library Afternoon Book Group will discuss A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 8. New members are welcome. The library is located at 508 Third St.
