Now is the time all NFL fans most look forward to. The Super Bowl. With championship week over and the Super Bowl participants decided, the hearts of many football fans are beginning to beat with excitement. All season they have been waiting for this moment. The Super Bowl even attracts people who normally aren’t followers of football because it’s such a big phenomenon.

Even if your team didn’t make it to the Super Bowl, if you are like me, you still watch and root for the team you want to see win.

With this year’s Super Bowl, there is going to be a lot of hype. Even though the players will get a lot of hype, it’s not the players I’m talking about. I’m referring to the coaches. The San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh are going head to head. If you can remember all the way to 2011, the two brothers’ teams met with the Ravens defeating the 49ers 16-6. They got a lot of media attention for that regular season game. I can only imagine what it’s going to be like for the Super Bowl, the most desired game to play in the NFL.

If I were the parents of the Harbaugh brothers, I would be in such a dilemma because I would want both of them to win. I can’t even imagine what emotions they are feeling right now.

Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens is also a big story going into the game. Since he announced his retirement this year, the Ravens have been more determined than ever to play their hardest and win. It payed, off because they are on their way to the Super Bowl.

Lewis, being an iconic player, has gotten a lot of people rooting for the Ravens because they want his career to end on a high note, preferably with the Lombardi trophy. His teammates have said that he has given them 100 percent for his entire career, so the least that they can do is give their all and help his career end triumphantly.

Colin Kaepernick is a huge story going on with the other team playing in the Super Bowl. In the middle of the season when Harbaugh decided to go with Kaepernick at the quarterback position over Alex Smith, who was out with a concussion, the football world was stunned. Some people thought it wasn’t fair since it is said that if you are a starter and are out for an injury, your position is safe. Some people thought he wasn’t experienced enough or wasn’t ready. After he beat the Green Bay Packers, some people changed their mind. But coming back when down by 17 against the Falcons to earn their spot in the Super Bowl got almost everyone convinced he was ready.

Watching the two quarterbacks, and two sibling coaches go head to head in the Super Bowl is a thought that excites many viewers.
