Changes coming for Farmington Independent

As of the March 7 issue, you will notice some changes to our newspaper.

We will combine the news content of the Farmington Independent and Rosemount Town Pages into one newspaper starting next week.

What this means for you is that your paper will be larger, with more news about our two communities. We will not change the way we cover Farmington, and you can expect the same extensive coverage that we currently provide. The only difference is that the name of the paper will become the Independent Town Pages, and you will also receive news from Rosemount.

We envision this change as an improvement and expansion of our coverage of the two communities. These two newspapers are stronger as one. We hope you enjoy the changes as we continue to be the top news producer for your community.

The Farmington Independent will continue to maintain its own, separate website. You can still see all of Farmington's news at www.farmingtonindependent.com.
