Your weekend: VFW will hold a benefit steak fry Saturday
Several events are planned at the Dakota County Library in Farmington over the next week.
Friday
Movies for Kids
The Dakota County Farmington Library will present children’s books in movie format from 10:30 to 11 a.m. March 15. The event is for ages 2-6. The Farmington library is located at 508 Third St.
Saturday
Waggin’ Tales
Kids can read to a certified therapy dog from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 16 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. Reading to a dog is fun and helps develop reading skills and fluency. Open to children ages 5 to 10.
Steak fry
The Farmington VFW will hold a steak fry fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. March 16 to benefit Boy Scout Troop #116. The VFW is located at 421 Third St.
Upcoming events
Storytime in the park
The Dakota County Farmington Library will bring stories, games and crafts to the indoor park at Trinity Care Center from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 20. The event is presented in partnership with the city of Farmington parks and recreation department. Trinity Care Center is located at 3410 213th St.
