Storytime for all ages

There will be a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. March 22 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. Storytime includes stories and activities meant for a mixed-age audience such as a childcare group. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Nintendo Wii games

Teens can play Nintendo Wii games on the big screen at the Rambling River Center from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. March 26. Rambling River Center is located at 325 Oak St.

Wildlife Safari with the Fish fry

The Farmington Knights of Columbus will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. March 22 at the Church of St. Michael. All proceeds will go toward Church of St. Michael charitable causes. The church is located at 22120 Denmark Ave.

Live music

Wayne Hamilton will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. March 22 at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Farmington. Dunn Bros. is located at 20100 Chippendale Ave.

Saturday

Easter egg hunt

Trinity Care Center in Farmington will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 1:30 p.m. March 23. Kids can hunt eggs, decorate cookies and dye eggs. Trinity Care Center is located at 3410 213th St. W.

Fundraiser for Jerry Jones

There will be a fundraiser event for Jerry Jones from 4 p.m. to midnight March 23 at Celts Pub in Farmington. The event will feature a silent auction, food, and music from five bands. Jerry was diagnosed with bladder cancer in late 2012. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and is unable to work. This benefit will help Jerry and his family with basic living costs. Celts is located at 200 Third St.

Upcoming events

Wildlife Safari with the Textile Center

Kids ages 12 to 16 can design their own sock monkey, elephant, dog, zombie or monster from 1 to 4 p.m. March 27. Participants should bring their own orphaned socks, gloves or mittens. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Community meal

Christian Life Church will hold a free community meal at 5 p.m. the last Wednesday of the month in March, April and May. The next meal will take place March 27. Future meals are scheduled April 24 and May 18. The church is located at 6300 212th St. West.
