Gary L. Thorson, 70

Gary L. Thorson, age 70, of St. Francis, passed away peacefully March 21.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He taught for 35 years in Farmington where he also enjoyed coaching many sports. He was an avid golfer and owned his own golf course in Fosston, Minn.

Preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Jim and Lloyd.

Survived by his loving wife, Ardith; children, Lee (Kristi) Thorson, Lynn Fellerman, and Teri Thorson; grandchildren, Alex, Devon, Ben, and Nate Fellerman, Michael, Kyla, and Tyler Thorson.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, with a visitation 1 hour prior, at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Reviewal will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to MN Teen Challenge.
