Ronald Gene Fleck may have had one drink too many. The 46-year-old man from Rosemount faces charges of driving under the influence.
Police stopped Fleck Feb. 18, 2008 after they noticed the back of the car he was driving had extensive damage. The car was also swerving over the roadway's centerline and fog line on 160 St. W. in Empire Township.
Fleck told police he had a drink earlier in the evening after police smelled an alcoholic odor coming from the car. Fleck performed some field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
Police found a no use of alcohol clause on Fleck's driver's license, which means it is illegal for him to operate a motor vehicle after drinking any alcoholic beverage.
Fleck faces two counts of driving under the influence. If convicted, he could face up to a year in jail and $3,000 in fines for each count.
