Great photos can be taken at any time of the year, but the deadline to submit them for the city of Farmington’s 2008 photo contest is just weeks away.
Great photos can be taken at any time of the year, but the deadline to submit them for the city of Farmington’s 2008 photo contest is just weeks away. The city of Farmington's 2009 Community Calendar will showcase the winning photos. In addition to featuring great photos taken by local photographers, the calendar will provide important information for its citizens.
The 2008 community calendar received an Award of Excellence in Visual Design from the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators at the 26th Annual Northern Lights Banquet on May 22.
The theme of the contest is EXPOSE Farmington; photos that reveal what you find special about living in Farmington. Photos not used in the calendar may be used in other city publications or on the city's web site to highlight Farmington at its finest (with proper credit).
Photographers must live within the city limits of Farmington. Entry forms and contest rules are available at www.ci.farmington.mn.us/ or at city buildings.
All photos become property of the city of Farmington and are non-returnable. The last day to submit photos is Monday, Aug. 18, 2008. Please call 651-463-1622 for more information.
