Engaged: Langer-Carey

Melissa Langer and Mike Carey, both of Farmington, have announced their engagement.

Melissa, the daughter of Mark and Kathy Langer of Farmington, is a 2001 graduate of Farmington High School and a 2005 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a bachelor of science degree in social studies education. She is currently studying for her master’s degree at the University of St. Thomas and works as a middle school social studies teacher at Faithful Shepherd Catholic School.

Mike, son of Todd and Tammy Carey of Farmington, is a 2001 FHS graduate and a 2006 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a bachelor of science degree in business finance. He is currently employed as a retirement plan specialist with Wachovia.

An Aug. 9 wedding is planned at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Farmington.
