Car wash
There will be a fund-raiser car wash from noon to 3 p.m. July 26 at the Farmington American Legion on Highway 3. A free-will offering will be accepted. A fund-raiser beer bash will follow. Money raised will go toward the Legion’s post-fire renovation.
July 29
Meeting for veterans
The Farmington VFW will host a Dakota County Service Officers meeting at 7 p.m. All veterans with questions are encouraged to attend. The VFW is located at 421 Third St.

Blood drive

Party on the Knoll
The Farmington Parks and Recreation Department will hold its second annual Party on the Knoll from 1 to 3:30 p.m. July 30 at Evergreen Knoll Park, 626 Heritage Way, next to the municipal pool. The free event will include swimming, music, make-and-take art projects, games and fun for the family. There will be a pancake breakfast fund-raiser for Trinity Care Center from 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee’s in Lakeville.

The Farmington High School cheerleading team will hold a fund-raiser pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 9 at Applebee’s in Rosemount, 15015 Cimarron Ave. Presale tickets also available from any Farmington Cheerleader.

Vacation Bible School
Bible Baptist Church in Farmington will host a free vacation Bible school from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. Aug. 10-14. The event will include crafts, games, music, snacks and Bible lessons. For more information, go to www.bbcfarmington.org.

The Farmington Downtown Business Association will host a motorcycle ride-in night from 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 16. Third Street will be reserved for motorcycles and there will be food, raffles, contests and musical entertainment. This monthly event will run through September.

There will be a steak fry fund-raiser for Trinity Care Center from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Farmington VFW, 421 Third St.
