It's decided: Tigers will face Lakeville South in football playoffs
As the No. 1 seed in the Class 5A, Section 1 playoffs, the Farmington football team earned a first-round bye. The Tigers now know who they will face in the semifinals — Lakeville South.
As the No. 1 seed in the Class 5A, Section 1 playoffs, the Farmington football team earned a first-round bye. The Tigers now know who they will face in the semifinals — Lakeville South.
Lakeville South, the No. 4 seed, beat No. 5 seed Rochester Mayo on Tuesday night, 40-14.
The 8-0 Tigers will host the 5-3 Cougars on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
Other Section 1 winners were No. 2 seed Owatonna, 28-6, over Rochester Century, and No. 3 seed Lakeville North, 41-28, over Rochester John Marshall.
