The Tigers ended up on the other side of a shutout in Thursday night’s rematch as the offense fell silent and the pitching staff yielded seven free passes and two hit-by-pitches in a 6-0 loss to the Trojans at Tiger Field.

Girls lacrosse: Park of Cottage Grove snaps Farmington’s five-game streak

It took Park of Cottage Grove overtime to put an end to Farmington’s program-record five-game winning streak Friday night. The game was close throughout, with neither team separating itself by more than two goals over the course of the game. It was 7-7 at the end of the first half and 13-13 at the end of regulation before the Wolfpack scored a pair of unanswered goals to get away with a 15-13 victory at Park High School.
