Girls basketball: Tigers can't overcome turnover troubles vs. New Prague
For parts of four days last week the Farmington girls basketball team held a share of first place in the Missota Conference. With a Shakopee loss at Red Wing and a 58-37 victory over Chaska Tuesday night, the Tigers drew even with the Sabers at 5-1 in the league. The deadlock was broken Friday night when the 14-2 Tigers — ranked ninth in Class 4A — suffered their second conference road loss of the season, 45-42 at ninth-ranked (Class 3A) New Prague.By: Matt Steichen, The Farmington Independent
