Gymnastics: Team scores are on the rise
The Farmington gymnastics team is once again on the verge of a 140-point team score. The Tigers reached the mark several times last season, including at the Section 1AA Championships when they peaked at a school-record 142.75. This year’s team has missed most of its top performers at one time or another, including Thursday night when Kathryn Beckett was out of the lineup for a 149.225-138.625 home loss to defending state champion Northfield.By: Matt Steichen, The Farmington Independent
