Boys golf: FHS golfers open with victory

Inexperience didn’t affect the Farmington golf team’s performance in its first meet of the season. Despite losing four seniors from last year’s varsity lineup, and playing without projected No. 2 golfer Erik Holmstrom, the Tigers opened with a 15 1/2-8 1/2 match play victory over Rosemount last Wednesday at Fountain Valley Golf Course.
