Gas company will do safety testing

If you hear a loud noise coming from the area of Northern Natural Gas on Co. Rd. 50 next week, there is no need for alarm – it’s just a test. The gas company is going to conduct its annual emergency shutdown system test at the Farmington Compression Station beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13. The test is expected to take 15 to 20 minutes.
