Walter K. Klaus, age 100, passed away on Nov. 16.

Walter K. Klaus, age 100, passed away on Nov. 16.

Lifelong resident of Empire City - Farmington area. Farmer, Republican activist, former legislator, and first principal of Christian Heritage Academy.

Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Taylor Klaus.

Survived by daughter, Caroline Koepp; granddaughters, Sarah (David) Long and Anne Virginia Koepp; also by other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Faith United Methodist Church, 710 Eighth St., Farmington. Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington, and 1 hour prior to service. Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Faith United Methodist Church.
