  • Sunlight filters through the smoke as firefighters watch a house burn. The burn was part of a countywide training exercise conducted in November.
  • A large crowd rocked out to Hairball at the Farmington Rotary’s first Rocktoberfest in October.
  • Students at Riverview Elementary School had more than new teachers to get used to in September. They had a whole new school.
  • In November, a group of Farmington Girl Scouts organized an anti-bullying event for their peers.
  • At least one participant in this year’s Dew Days celebration reached some new heights. The annual city celebration had financial troubles in 2009 but plans to be back in 2010.
