It’s been more than a week since the 2012 general election. The winners have been declared, the campaign signs are gone and, on Tuesday, the city of Farmington released its voter turnout numbers.

Editorial: Let’s make high turnout a habit
Whatever the results of Tuesday’s election in Farmington, no matter who is happy and who is sad, there is one thing that seems remarkably clear: The results, at least locally, are a good indication of what Farmington residents wanted. Everybody should be happy about that.

Election season hits high gear
By late this week, it’s a pretty good bet city of Farmington executive assistant Cindy Muller will be ready for a nice, quiet few days off. Because truth be told, she’s been pretty busy around city hall these days. Not only does Muller have to worry about things like attending city council meetings and workshops, but she’s had plenty to do on top of that the past few weeks. She’s got an election to run.
