Russell Wustenberg, a vocal performance senior at Concordia College in Moorhead, will perform the lead role in “The Marriage of Figaro” in Salzburg,?Austria, with the Franco-American Vocal Academy’s international program as part of Salzburg’s Mozart Festival. A lyric baritone, Wustenberg was a Top Ten finalist in FAVA’s French Art Song Competition held at the University of Texas-Austin last winter. He was also named to the dean’s list at Concordia College for the spring 2012 semester. Wustenberg is the son of Dr. William and Wendy Wustenberg of Empire Township.

Farmington goaltender Austin Krause wanted to celebrate Senior Night his own way, and it's landed him a 10-day suspension. Krause purposely scored a goal into his own net, then showed his middle finger in the direction of the coaching staff and gave a salute before leaving the ice in the third period of Tuesday's Senior Night hockey game at Schmitz-Maki Arena.
