Dakota County foreclosures down in 2012
Last week’s good news about the declining number of mortgage foreclosure notices reached into Dakota County. According to data collected by the Minnesota Homeownership Center, Minnesota households received 39,054 preforeclosure notices in 2012, more than 28 percent fewer than they did in 2011.

The outages are mainly located in the eastern and southeastern part of the cooperative’s service territory. Locations affected are the areas near Hastings, Miesville, Red Wing, Welch, Castle Rock and surrounding areas.
