Committee breaks ground on veterans' memorial
Farmington is officially on its way to the construction of a veterans' memorial. Members of the committee that has been planning the project, which will be located in Rambling River Park, turned ceremonial shovels of dirt at 2 p.m. Friday to get the project under way. The plan is to have construction of at least the first phase of the project completed by Memorial Day next year.
