According to a complaint filed last week in the Dakota County Attorney’s office, the 32-year-old Faribault man broke into an Xcel Energy substation in Farmington and stole a spool of copper wire, then sped away when police stopped to question him, crashing through a residential fence in the process.

The facts are simple enough: around 10 a.m. on July 27, a middle-aged white man drove a 1981 Suzuki motorcycle into a stall at the car wash. Farmington police are investigating two reports of an adult male showing pornographic pictures to children in separate neighborhoods Monday evening.
