Farmington man is racing on the biggest stage

The annual Dew Run will be held Saturday outside the old City Hall at 325 Oak Street. The one-mile race will begin at 8 o’clock, followed by the ½ mile Junior Jog at 8:15 and the four-mile race at 8:30. Packet pick-up and race registration begins at 7 o’clock.

Fogarty, Slavik win in county board primary
Farmington City Council member Christy Jo Forgarty will advance to the general election in the race to become Dakota County Commissioner for District 1. Fogarty finished second in Tuesday’s primary election with 25.1 percent of the vote. She will face off in November against Hastings resident Mike Slavik, who received 41.75 percent of the vote.
