The champagne and cheese will be replaced by hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, but Dunn Bros. is gearing up for an art show opening Thursday night. It’s not just any art show, either. This one features all local artists. All local, elementary school-aged artists, from Riverview Elementary School.

I learned this week that one of my favorite Christmas light displays is going away. It’s making me a little bit sad. Not a lot. You won’t find me blubbering in the corner. That would be weird. It’s just making me a little misty. Deep down inside. Outside I’m still as tough and manly as ever.

When you spend a lot of time on a bicycle, people tend to expect you to have a certain affinity for Lance Armstrong. At least, that’s what I gather based on the number of people over the years who have yelled “Way to go, Lance!” or “Nice one, Lance!” or “Get out of the road, stupidface!” as I ride past their yard or their car.
