Ball-control, defense and goalkeeping have all been strengths for the Farmington girls soccer team this season. When the Tigers have struggled, it’s been because of their inability to capitalize on scoring opportunities. That was the case Saturday afternoon as a sub-.500 Rochester Mayo team came to Tiger Stadium and escaped 80 minutes of regulation and two overtimes with a scoreless tie.
