A day later the team put together a furious three-goal rally late to tie the score against Burnsville only to have the Blaze secure the victory with a goal in the final 30 seconds.

It didn’t take the Farmington boys hockey team long to shake off its season-opening loss to Hastings. The Tigers rebounded with a pair of road wins over section opponents last week in Rochester, first edging Rochester John Marshall 4-3 on Tuesday and then rolling to their first-ever victory over Rochester Century by a 6-0 count last Thursday at the Rochester Recreation Center.
