Fitness program earns $25,000 prize for Meadowview Elementary
Programs designed to get kids active during recess and at home have earned Meadowview Elementary School a semifinalist award in the Active Schools Acceleration Project Innovation Competition. If the school is one of two finalists it could win an additional $100,000.

The local diversity club has been working with Lakeville North, Lakeville South and Minneapolis South high schools this year on a new partnership called Students Together as Allies for Racial Trust – or START – that is aimed at helping all of schools educate students
