On Friday night nearly 400 Farmington High School students will walk across the stage either at Tiger stadium or in the FHS gym. They will receive their diplomas and they will take their first steps, at least symbolically, toward whatever is next for them.

Tommy May will end his Farmington High School golf career at the state tournament. The FHS senior qualified for next week’s competition with a two-round total of 149 that tied him for fourth place at the Section 1AAA tournament.

The local diversity club has been working with Lakeville North, Lakeville South and Minneapolis South high schools this year on a new partnership called Students Together as Allies for Racial Trust – or START – that is aimed at helping all of schools educate students
