Farmington High School seniors Holly Loberg and Eric Revis know what bullying can do. That’s why they were at the center of a Peers for Peers program Feb. 15.

Column: News is a funny business
News is a funny business. Not always in a funny “ha ha” way, but sometimes in a funny “you can’t make this stuff up” way. And other times, it’s a funny “I love this job” kind of way.

DMS Green Team recently celebrated Green Week
A few Dodge Middle School students went dumpster diving for a good cause a couple of weeks ago. Yep, that’s right. They went into the school’s dumpsters. They dug around. They even made a video about it. That’s one of the fun and unique things the DMS Green Team is doing to promote the “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” theme around the school.

School security has been on a lot of parents’ minds since the shooting last month in Newtown, Conn. It makes sense. While schools are still among the safest places a child can be, a high-profile incident like the one at Sandy Hook Elementary School is sure to make an impact.

This is a look back at those stories, our favorites from 2012.
